WHY SALT ADVANCE?
Don’t waste your high school years! Spend your junior and/or senior year on a team learning how to be a leader, how to serve others, and how to share the Gospel across cultures. Then go on the adventure of a lifetime and serve overseas in places people back home only dream about going to. Don’t waste these years! Use them for the Gospel and the glory of God!
What if teenagers became passionate about their own spiritual growth - and the spiritual maturity of their friends? What if teenagers became the fiercest, most outspoken advocates for global missions - and local outreach - in your church? What if teenagers got equipped to lead and serve in their churches - and helped others to do the same? What if this was your teen? SALT Advance can help your teen take the next step!
FOR YOUTH WORKERS
We know the struggle. As a youth worker, you don’t want to just entertain teens. You aren’t there to just be their friends. You want more. You know there are teens who want more. We want to help. We want to come alongside you and help you develop leaders in your youth ministry and in your church. We want to help you unleash advocates for global missions in your church. We want to create a stir that will get the attention of your church, your parents, but especially your teens.
“I’ve been a member of SALT for about a year and a half. During this time I’ve been able to go on two mission trips... Seeing God at work in the lives of people, and being used by God to make an impact in those peoples lives was a real encouragement to me. In addition to the mission trips I’ve also been on several training retreats where I’ve learned how to present the gospel in a simple and easy to explain format. Being a part of SALT has definitely been a great experience and helped me in my relationship with God.” — Nick R
“I’ve only been a part of SALT for a few years, but I don’t know what I’d do without it. SALT not only broadened my perspective of the world, but gave me confidence to change it. I’ve made true friends, learned real lessons, seen immense impact, and most importantly seen God break through seemingly unbreakable barriers. I’ve grown more than I can say. SALT provides an opportunity for us young people to learn to be active with our faith and realize we don’t have to wait until we “grow up” to life for Christ. SALT has dramatically impacted my life, and I’m blessed to be a part of it.” — Sierra M
