BOB WORTHINGTONOriginally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Bob currently serves as Chairman/CEO of Meta Real Estate Partners, a commercial real estate development and investment firm which invests the capital of its principals and outside investors across a diverse spectrum of real estate holdings. Over his career, Bob has been chiefly responsible for over 3 billion dollars in real estate transactions, received many industry awards, and has served as a guest lecturer and panelist at industry conferences, university classes, and other related gatherings.
Outside of his real estate business, Bob has been enthusiastically active in numerous ministerial pursuits. Among them, Bob served as Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees for 18 years with Wesleyan School, a K-12 fully programmed Christian school in Atlanta, Georgia, and currently serves as a Trustee Emeritus. He previously chaired and currently serves on the board of FCA Dominican Baseball, a missional platform dedicated to spreading the Gospel to children in Dominican villages through bringing their local coaches to faith and making disciples of these influencers. Bob has coached youth sports for over 25 years, serving on local organizing boards, and using his coaching platform to forge relationships and mentoring opportunities for him to both share and model his faith. Through these and other avenues, Bob has sought to offer himself and his resources in service to Christ through service to Christ’s children. Bob resides in Atlanta and is married to the former Piper Jan Berryman with whom he shares 3 children and 6 grandchildren. |
