2021 SERVICE OPPORTUNITIESREFUGEE WELCOME CENTER
Friday, January 29th
Each year, thousands of people, forced to flee violence and persecution, are welcomed by the people of the United States into the safety and freedom of America. These individuals have survived against incredible odds. The International Rescue Committee provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America.
SERVE THE SOJOURNER
The IRC has established a welcome center to shelter refugees and help transition them to safe residencies here in the US. Volunteers help in the welcome center with a variety of projects. The "Serve the Sojourner" Project is a joint collaboration between GraceLife Church, SALT Next Gen Ministries and International Rescue Committee. *You must be 18 years or older to volunteer and complete a background check. For under 18 years old volunteer opportunities, please email our campus team director.
